Providing psychological treatment following the bushfire emergencies


GP providers of FPS are now able to provide psychological therapies following the release of the Bushfire Recovery Access Initiative – Mental Health Services Attracting Medicare Rebates.

There are 12 MBS item numbers for the provision of psychological therapy and FPS services to patients who are considered to have had their mental health adversely affected by the recent bushfire emergency.
