New Suicide Prevention Resources from Everymind
Conversations Matter is a suite of free, evidence‑informed resources designed to help people talk safely about suicide. The resources have recently been updated to reflect current best practice and lived and living experience insights. Organisations working in mental health and suicide prevention play a key role in sharing these refreshed guides across communities, workplaces and networks.
Updated Conversations matter resources are now available on Life in Mind. Developed using plain language and shaped by lived and living experience, the guides have been refreshed to better support people through real‑life situations, whether they’re worried someone may be thinking about suicide or supporting others after a suicide death.
The resources include practical examples of how to ask about suicide directly, how to connect someone with support, and guidance for parents and carers talking with a child after a suicide loss. Free, evidence‑informed and grounded in real‑world conversations, the updated guides are designed to help anyone feel more confident supporting someone they care about.
