RACGP Rural Focussed Psychological Strategies Skills Training (FPS ST) opportunities
The RACGP Rural FPS ST training package provides GPs with essential training to become a GP provider of FPS and provide cognitive behavioural therapies (CBT) to their patients.
This training package uses a combination of technology, peer learning groups and locally available resources to provide GPs with access to FPS ST whilst remaining in their practice and community.
Scholarship opportunity for Queensland GPs in MMM 2-7
RACGP Queensland is offering a limited number of fully-funded places for Queensland GPs in Modified Monash Model (MMM) 2-7 to complete RACGP Rural’s online FPS ST.
This program is funded by the generosity of a Northern Australia Primary Health Limited (NAPHL) grant, and covers the full $1,279 course fee.
To be eligible for funding, participants must:
- be an RACGP member currently working as a GP or GP in training in regional, rural, or remote areas MMM 2-7 in Queensland, and
- have completed Level 1 Mental Health Skills Training.
The next course intake date is 13 November 2023.
