Invitation to participate in research
Do you see patients with panic attacks who cannot access or afford traditional face-to-face therapy? The Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety and Depression at St Vincent’s Hospital and the University of New South Wales is currently recruiting participants for a clinical trial of online clinician-guided cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for panic disorders and agoraphobia.
To be eligible, participants must live in Australia, be 18 years old or over and have regular access to a computer with internet connection. The research trial excludes patients who are currently participating in CBT treatment or who have started medication (or changed dose) in the past two months.
For more information on the clinical trial, visit the Virtual Clinic website.
