New instructions on how GPs can update their provider number

Training providers need to ask GPs to update their provider number with the GPMHSC to report completion of Mental Health Skills Training (MHST) to Services Australia (Medicare).

We’ve updated the online instructions advising GPs on how to update their provider number. Please include this information when communicating with GPs who have completed MHST to ensure their training is reported quickly and efficiently.

GPs can follow these instructions to add their provider number via the ‘My account’ button on the RACGP website
