Urgent – Focussed Psychological Strategies (FPS) CPD requirements


Registered providers of FPS who have not yet completed their FPS CPD requirements and who have not spoken to the GPMHSC must contact them immediately, as the deadline for completing FPS CPD requirements has now closed and the GPMHSC is offering limited extensions.

If GPs are seeking to maintain registration, please contact the GPMHSC immediately to discuss options. The required FPS CPD course will need to be completed, and we are recommending GPs find courses via training providers such as Psychwire, Russ Harris, ASPM, RACGP Rural, or for courses that cover potential topics that could arise requiring FPS assistance such as trauma, PTSD, ADHD. GPs can look for courses that teach modalities such as EMDR, motivational interviewing, CBT, ACT, mindfulness and so on.
