GP video resource on mental wellbeing and resilience now available
As part of the eMental Health in Practice project, Black Dog Institute have developed a series of video resources for GPs titled Working Towards Wellbeing. These short videos demonstrate how GPs can teach evidence-based strategies and help enhance patient mental wellbeing and resilience. In addition, these strategies are recommended for GPs to use to improve their own mental health.
Collectively, the video resource covers mindfulness, mood monitoring, structured problem solving, physical activity and gratitude journaling. Each video has an accompanying resource guide which outlines the benefits of the strategy, evidence base and how to use these strategies with patients.
Visit the Black Dog Institute website to view the short video resources.
