Mental health training standards 2023 - 25

The GPMHSC has officially released the Mental Health Standards 2023-25: A guide for general practitioners.

This document outlines the standards of mental health training and education that GPs must meet to be eligible to access general practice mental health care MBS item numbers under the Better Access Initative. It also highlights what GPs should consider when selecting mental health CPD so their skills and knowledge in mental health are up to date and broad.
